Ever since I was a child, I've had an interest in outer space and other planets. Titan, the subject of this painting, is a moon of Saturn. It is a likely candidate for finding life within our solar system, as its surface is blotted with lakes and oceans of liquid methane. Its atmosphere is cloudy with orange and green hues, which I tried to communicate in this piece. Small circular textures on the canvas are meant to convey the subtle presence of a surface beneath the chaotic, vibrant brush strokes.

I'm a recreational artist from Baton Rouge, LA. My interests and subject topics include bleeding sunsets, new worlds, and soothing color blends. I love global cultures and contemporary issues. I'm a sic-fi nerd and a movie fanatic, which inspires a lot of my art. I also write poetry.
