The reason I chose the title for this piece it delves into a largely glossed over period of the American history.

I created this piece in a period of my life learning about the American Indian history of the United States

My inspiration in creating this piece is the simplicity of it coupled with the deep roots.

I have never taken art seriously in the regards that I think things need to be perfect. I love imperfection. I would color in the lines, unless i found the lines to be too constricting. There is no rules to art. If you can make it in 5 minuets and you love it... fantastic. If it takes 50 years...fantastic. I say create what you want to create, if others like it, that is a plus, if not...fuck em. I began traveling at a young age with my family, until I got a wild hair up my ass, got the itch and I ventured out on my own. I have since lived in Tanzania, South Africa, France, Romania, Belgium, Argentina and Ghana and explored and experienced a nice chunk of the world and the wonderful cultures and people that go along with it. Most of my work abroad has been for nonprofits, some for international media, and some too crazy to discuss on the Internet. Currently I am in law school focusing a lot on international law. My passion for culture, people, history, and the developing world is reflected in many of my pieces.
