Light from the kitchen window shining through the translucent membrane of the fruit and refracted in the juice soaked cutting board contrasted with the solid shapes of the half and whole fruit itself.
This are the things an artist looks for in a subject. However once the paint drys and is seen by the patron it transcends representation and becomes art as each human experience filters the vision through their own experience and perception.
