This mixed media collage is entitled "Grandfather Sun." It was inspired by my son, who is an amateur astronomer. When he was a toddler, I took him outside to watch the Perseid meteor shower. The experience influenced him for life and he is still looking up decades later. When I created this piece, I "looked up" and saw the sun over the mountains. I continually see suns, moons, stars, galaxies, planets, nebulae....... Just look and you will see them reappearing in my art.
My son just gave me a telescope for Mother's Day. I suspect that I will always look up, as will he,
