Inspired by the original American Gothic/Wood, used paint brushes display the female and male as in the authentic scenery, with gothic window and the stopped time on the background of the image.
Painted on half inch birch plywood, the back has been mounted on old, solid oak frame, and the brushes reach out 1 inch, topped with wooden beads.
Humor in this piece displays in the 101 - DIY American Gtohic piece; we can see who is holding the apron!
This 9x11.5 picture frame has extensive detail to the apron pattern, wood siding, as well as the masonry stones of the base of the house, I wish you could see the details alive to enjoy them!
