I have a special taste for the universe and when I see the sky at night, I imagine what the stars and galaxies will be like, so in this work I wanted to represent what a Supernova explosion would be like for me.

I was born in Mexico City. I live in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. My special interest in nature, biology and human health led to my professional development as a Doctor in Biological Sciences. However, parallel to my education, my training as an artist began during my adolescence in 1974 taking classes of industrial technical drawing for three years with Professor Gonzalo Lopez, with whom I learned various techniques of artistic drawing, drawing freehand and strokes, and under his tutelage I made my first works. Years later I took painting classes under the tutelage of the plastic artist Helga Kuhne (RIP) with whom I learned different techniques. I love penciling coal, watercolor, oil, acrylic and Sumi-é, the art of Japanese brush painting. During 2011 in Montpellier, France, I continued painting including some materials in my works.
