Ready to Hang

The reason I chose the title for this piece is because I've always been fascinated with the surreal state of mind one enters upon dreaming, which was my inspiration for creating this piece. I chose "The Dreamer" as a reference to the Mexican "loteria , which is part of my culture.
This was the first acrylic painting I did, and the process is therefore very meaningful to me. This piece was finished on November 2014 by me at the age of 16.

Born and raised in a small town in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Vanessa Rodriguez now currently resides in Mission, Texas.
