Circles, within circles and colors, overlapping colors. This Modern with Contemporary art design is a freehand and asymmetrical circular pattern that I created with a dynamic, and starburst effect. As I noticed the final end result of the painting's presentation; it, reminded me of a molecular binary science in combination with the billiard balls on the pool table. The interesting challenge about this work, was primarily creating circles freehand, while being consistent with the balance of colors throughout the work and that final backdrop result of a neutral gray that would pop the art.

Born and raised in Lakeland, FL, this emerging artist soon started his fascination with color, pattern, and drawing, at the age of 6. Simply, drawing stick figures that included the minute details of design, facial features, and landscapes, has a therapeutic flair for more than just drawing. At age 13, he experimented with life drawing, sculpture, as well as still-life, feeling that details were his best challenge and strength as an artist. Awarded, 2nd place at Lakeland Highlands Middle School, for creating a graphite rendering of a church's architectural building, which entailed everything from the windows, to the parking lot fixtures. Mr. Reynolds, has a unique approach to composition and working in a collage fashion with his various subject matter. His medium is either acrylics as a single applied choice, or his most frequently and versatile preference, which is the mixed medium of combining colored pencil with acrylic. Detail of the work is important that the subject has towards giving the perspective, as well as composition, resulting into Realism. Not only does this movement influence his art, but has also derived from Surrealism, Art Nouveau, Expressionism, and Pop Art, among his various paintings. Graduating, with a B.F.A., in Illustration, from the Savannah College of Art and Design, in 2008. Mr. Reynolds, moved to Nashville, TN in 2009, volunteering, exhibited, and working as a gallery coordinator for the Tennessee Art League and has been featured in many artist venues such as, BB Kings, Out Central, Canvas Lounge, Untitled Artists, 508 Lofts, Raw Artists, Frothy Monkey, as well as Barnes and Noble (Vanderbilt).
