stretched new canvas over the frame (but loosely to provide a softer look), and used for experimenting in painting with everyday objects (BBQ grill cleaner, spray can lids, tubes, etc.) A few paint drips and throws and a base color and was tired of it. I asked a friend what they saw and they said it looked like someone broke through Sheetrock and that is what's on the other side. I began manifesting it to be just that, building bricks over the painting. I knocked a hole through the wall to see the other side, and asked "what made the hole, though?" Of course, I had to make it creepy then.
My name is Trevor Parks. I am a budding photographer and artist dabbling in many areas of printmaking, image transfer, and acrylic painting. Although my other artistic ventures are more successful and I am more skilled, I feel more personally attached to my paintings. When I paint, I tend to find that I'm usually trying to convey a feeling I can never quite describe. Otherwise, my paintings are a result of a manic episode of messy painting with no objective than to release pent up anxiety or something. Either way, you're usually seeing "me" and exactly what I feel at that time.
