An aerial view of the Blue City in Jodhpur, India, unique with its color and architectural style. Working through the lens of the camera my painting captures the moment, and lets the image tell the story even though the are no people. The shadows suggest the time of day and add perspective. It combines elements of abstraction and representation, surface and illusion, as well as observation and imagination.

Born in Philadelphia, I studied painting at the Philadelphia College of Art and design and silkscreen printing at the School of Visual Arts. A Manhattan-based artist and graphic designer, my work is featured in private and corporate collections and has been in many exhibitions including solo shows in New York at the Studio Gallery in Chelsea, James Beard Gallery, Rockefeller Gallery, Speakeasy Gallery, Blue Hill Plaza, Interchurch Center and National Arts Club. A selection of group shows includes Van der Plas, Gallery 440, Studio 5404 Art Space, Blue Mountain, Prince Street, Pen and Brush, Dacia Gallery, The Chelsea Art Museum. Also Kaller Fine Arts in Washington, DC and George Segal Gallery and Riverside Gallery in NJ. I'm an active member and exhibitor at the National Arts Club and the National Association of Women Arts.
