T.E.S.T P48 #5 stems from the T.E.S.T series created this past January. It is a part of my ambitious goal to complete 500 works of art by July 2018. Since then, I've created over 60 works to date and will continue to make 17 works until this year ends. Even though it will not reach my total, it will be really close to it. Mainly the theme is focused on hands, a part of the body that is not used often but is usually one of the most expressive when it comes to communication. In this scene, we were once all children playing carelessly in the playground, I hope this painting makes you relive that.
I am a visual artist with a long tale. As a little girl, my dream is to become a full time artist and it still is. On this journey, I ended working in social services, which in hindsight I do not regret it taking the road of psychology because it gave me vernacular of how to describe my art. Overall, I continue to moonlight on my art as I work full time in social services. Although I have a Masters in Counseling, I do have an educational background in Visual Arts and overall just a big imagination. I take all of my inspiration in my art through personal experiences including those in my close circle and mainly my relationship with God. My relationship with God helps to carve the pieces I make into something that I believe everyone can relate to. We all got to live in this world right?
