This mixed media painting is on a piece of 19 x 24 Bristol paper. This is the second piece in my new series where I have started adding the human figure to the skulls I normally paint. The subject matter in this piece relates to the shooting of unarmed African American teenagers.

Terry Urban is an American artist and musician who lives and works in NYC. Urban’s style is most influenced by Abstract Expressionism, where he is not interested in an accurate execution of his subjects, but rather in exploring the possibilities of abstraction.
