This mixed media painting is on a piece of 19 x 24 Bristol paper. The painting has a weird sixties vibe to it which wasn't the direction I was going at all with the piece. It almost or does look like a trippy anti war poster from San Francisco in the sixties. The subject matter of this piece is stemmed from the current heavy militarization of our police officers in the United States... hence the title of the painting.

Terry Urban is an American artist and musician who lives and works in NYC. Urban’s style is most influenced by Abstract Expressionism, where he is not interested in an accurate execution of his subjects, but rather in exploring the possibilities of abstraction.
