I paint in my car, while traveling. This young tree so full of life and promise, cheerfully out of tune with the old grove. I was inspired by Vaughan Williams's Symphony #3, second movement, and closely matched the symphonic blend of sound with high key chromatic notes punctuated by majestic dark dashes of the brush.
