What are the ethics of depicting reality of war and violence in our media driven society that feeds of the sensation of suffering? The work 'Acting God' depicts an alternate last moment of deaths of 17 women burnt alive in war zone after refusing to be sex slaves of terrorists. As an artist I engaged with the image by breaking the barrier of a literal viewpoint & one of pity.

Material: Linoleum relief print on printmaking paper
