My art comes from my mind – from my heart. I often sit down in front of a canvas and just paint…

There have been times that I would sit down and want to do a skyline painting and before I know it, what I have painted is a double sided face… a landscape might turn into an abstract piece.
The only deliberate (if an artist is allowed to make such a claim) work is when I started experimenting with “Poured Acrylic”. When I start doing one of these pieces, it actually ends up as one of those. However, I can say that, often, the colors and the patterns change with the manipulation of canvas from what was originally in my mind’s eye.
My latest creations are turning your pictures into art, I print your color photo in black and white on canvas then use my creative mind to place colors on the canvas creating a one of a kind art piece.

Stuart Hennessey. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey in 1964, with an affliction of dyslexia, Stuart Hennessey always exhibited signs of creativity and excellent people skills. These innate traits were reflected, during the majority of his adult life, in the Restaurant Industry as a Garde Manger Chef and, most notably, as a Baker in the United States Marine Corps. These most reputable careers are, Stuart believes, what fueled his artistic eye by creating “Artwork” with food. Having left the Restaurant Industry in 2007 to venture into the Financial Wealth Management world, Stuart realized he still needed a creative outlet (lacking in his new profession). After some time, he decided to exchange the mediums from the edible color, texture, space and form to pick up a brush and moved to canvas, paper, wood and canvas with oil paints. Strictly self-taught, Stuart utilized his visions of experiences and desires from his travels and residences all over this Great Nation and around the World.
