The the story behind it

I was inspired to make this artwork by the concepts of love(relationship and beauty) and death (viewed as an ending not necessarily ugly). Not their ad-litteram meaning, but more of a personal view of the subject, made me think of a boredom turned into a machine-like repetition that needed to replace the minds rationality with a self-made illusion that was necessary in order for the "machine" or repetition to work or exist.

I was born in Roman, a city located in eastern Romania, in 1989. My artistic education has been a theoretical one (art history, aesthetics) and I consider myself a self-taught artist. I started from photography and ended up trying various techniques. I can use a variety of mediums from traditional to multimedia. Now, I work predominantly with mixed media combining various types of pigments on fine art paper or canvas.
