I based this piece of a Lithuanian fairy tale about Egle queen of the snakes.
This is a very sad/romantic tale of a woman who learns to love the husband who captured her, only to lose her lover to her well meaning family. I feel like the morel is to not judge other peoples relationships.
This piece makes use of gold paint and shimmers in light. This obviously does not photograph well.
My name is Stefani Slaughter. Thanks so much for visiting my portfolio. Im a traveling artist who is currently living in the mountains of West Virginia. I love watercolors because they travel well and I love the ethereal aspect they give. I suck at explaining things and talking about my work, but the whole reason I became an artist is because I always have had such a hard time converting my thoughts into language. The Visual arts gave me a way to express my thoughts without having to use cumbersome words and escape misunderstanding. Feel free to contact me via my website stefanislaughter.com
