I love making really enormous clouds, because, really, they are. The sky is the limit!and (often), the clouds fill the sky! The landscape (even if enormous mountains), in comparison, is tiny.
This is a scene from the Blue Ridge Parkway, with Grandfather Mountain in the background.
Susan began her journey as an artist at the University of Kentucky. Her love of painting remained constant as she raised a family and worked as a nurse. She now lives and paints in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband and dog, while my children travel around the world. Her work ranges from literal to whimsical representation. She has been fascinated by the visual and spiritual essence of the cow for her entire artistic career. Historically, Ishe follows a family tradition passed down from her great grandfather, William Hart, an artist from the American Hudson River School, who specialized in painting pastoral scenes with cattle. Whatever her medium or subject, she strives to portray her subject’s energy and essence with a celebration of rich color and texture. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio.
