Ready to Hang

I think we are becoming like potted plants. We are animal/plant first; encased later. You can pick us up and move us to different places now, but without our case we are fragile. Examples of our cases are clothes, cellphone, credit card, and car. The back drop is of some mountains I saw in Utah. The mountains on the right include wireframe lines to indicate how increasingly time is spent viewing the natural world through digital interfaces, such as lighted screens for video games, simulators or movies. The leaves of the plant are meant to merge into the mountains, like our bodies. This artwork is part of my series on 'Mental Landscapes.' This artwork is unframed but ready to hang as I believe that it does not require a frame.
