Ready to Hang
I am attracted to abstraction because what I want to paint is not what I can see, but what I can't see. There is a mystery behind things, and that mystery is what I’m always reaching for. This painting is about space and time. How do you make a painting about space and time? I don't know. It's impossible. But that's what makes it interesting to try.
