Ready to Hang
This piece was inspired by my love of Amish quilts and Navajo weaving. The pattern is similar to a wedge weave pattern that you see in some Navajo rugs, and the gradated colors are from an Amish pattern called "sunshine and shadow." The painting is on gallery wrapped canvas with the sides painted black, and it is ready to hang.
