This is a giclee print of an original watercolor by Sheron Smith. This building exists at the corner of Haight and Ashbury in San Francisco. It has undergone several paint jobs since this painting was done! However, this one is best! This print comes to you matted in a clear bag and carefully boxed. It is signed by the artist on the front and numbered.
The original is not for sale. Love the Haight is copyright registered by the artist
Throughout my life I have always been involved in artistic endeavors. Although my MS is in education, I have completed art related course work. I am self taught and worksas a full time artist in my studio. My work has been represented in galleries, shows, and exhibitions. I create much of the texture in my paintings using a painting knife with acrylic paint and mediums. Different media such as lightweight pumice, sand, paper, acrylic mediums and other media create high texture my paintings. I often contrast texture with smooth glazes in the same painting. Contrast is the essence of my work. For me art is an exploration of contrasts. I believe that art need not be over-explained. Art speaks to each of us loudly, quietly, or not at all, but always individually!
