This painting is based on my love of science and having looked through many a microscope, the little tiny world that lives unseen in our world is nonetheless there, on the microscopic level. This is a staple theory of science fiction stories. Are these molecules or some fraction of a biological experiment?
There are always other interpretations of abstract art and I would prefer people use their own imaginations to conjure up the stores. The painting would be perfect for anyone interested in science or astronomy.
This painting is mixed media, done in 2015, and is framed and ready for hanging.

Many years ago in the frozen north (Minnesota) I was a talented child drawer. That led to a love of painting that I have had all of my life. I received a degree in illustration while in high school. Later I studied fine arts painting at a MN university and have been painting ever since. I paint mostly in acrylic and watercolors but I also do occasional oil paintings. I do portraits, landscapes, and abstracts, and occasional series like wildlife on abstract backgrounds. I'm very interested in environmental causes and often do paintings about those themes. I sometimes work in a series but ultimately paint what inspires me. Originally from MN, I have also lived in San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, North Dakota, and northern Minnesota. I don't really love to move, but I love to travel, especially to central America. Sometimes I interpret my travel photos later as paintings. I now live in the Atlanta Georgia area with my husband and cute dog. My studio is in my home so I can paint at 3:00 am if I want to, and yes, that happens. I'm a night owl painter, because that's often when the magic happens.
