One in the line of Retro "Tiki Tarts". Fashioned after the 1950's Tiki craze that swept the US of A. This exotic, energetic woman brings the Tropical Tiki Beat to ANY party she's asked to. The blazing Tiki Torch keeps company with an appreciative carved ebony Tiki god. The title tips an appreciative hat to a line from a Warren Zevon song, ..."she's gone with the Hula Hula Boys, and she don't care about me!"
My name is Shawn Shea. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I have been painting since I was seven. Have owned an illustration studio for many years and am now working full time as a fine artist providing the highest quality art to galleries, collectors and private commission clients. This first series of paintings here on Vango are my take on the Mid Century Modern retro aesthetic. Have always loved retro, noir, tiki sensibilities and LOVE exploring the genre. I hope you enjoy these and will follow me as I explore them and also appreciate the landscape and wildlife fine art I'll be showing, also. Looking forward to sharing my art with this community. Deep gratitude for taking the time to look at the work.
