Serge Lis Eliseev was born in in 1954 . He is chemist engineer. He was musician, karate instructor, customs officer and driver during his life. His main hobbies were music and sport. He was a drummer and singer in Rock band “Long Distance”. He became interested in black-and-white photography in 2000. It was his first step in art. He was admitted a member of the Union of artists of Russia in 2005 as photographer.
Serge experimented a lot with coloring black-and-white prints with acrylic and aniline in 2013-2014. It was the result that he began to create oil painting on canvas in February 2015
Being a self-taught and self-represented artist gives him the freedom and proficiency to express himself with oils and other mediums, his work has evolved through his own personal experience. The internet has always been his greatest source of information and techniques. He strives to improve his craft with every new portrait or fantasy picture he paints.

Serge Lis Eliseev. Member of Saint Petersburg Union of Artists since 2005 (section drawing). Constant participant of exhibitions "Spring" and "Autumn" of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists since 2005. Annually presents his work in a Solo Exhibition in St. Petersburg Union of Artists from 2014. Participant in international and domestic exhibitions. Works are in the collections of the Russian Museum, the Museum Centro de Fotografia Isla de Tenerife (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain), and in private collections in Russia and abroad, namely in Saint-Petersburg, New York, Hamburg, Reykjavik, Oslo, Miami.
