In Catalonia every day of St Jordi, on 23 April, flowers or books are given to friends, that night in each house there is at least one rose, which recalls the feat of St Jordi in saving the people.

Saj, a self-taught artist, was born in Caracas Venezuela, and had to emigrate to Barcelona., because of to "Chavismo" in 2004. He currently resides in Andorra, a small principality between Spain and France, located in the eastern Pyrenees. He is a doctor by profession, discovering himself as an artist after a spinal surgery that kept him down for a while, from that moment, he studied drawing, painting and he has dedicated himself to developing and expressing his vision of aesthetics and emotion in front, images. The tropical light, with the primary colors are still in his retina from its native Caracas, thanks to the strong light, and the clean atmosphere at the heights of the Principality of Andorra. In Barcelona and Madrid he has been able to study the great painters of the last century. The line, the light, shadows of gray, dominates much of his work, expressed in figurative art, still lifes and abstract drawings. The color is the frame in many cases, but in others the color is the issue, always, dominating the primary colors.
