Rutuja Padwal is a young, dynamic and a versatile artist who loves to paint anything and everything under the sun. Rutuja Padwal is a prodigy. It was at the two years of her age, that she started drawing images, especially faces of every visitor at her place, and she used to entertain them by presenting a sketch of their face. Faces have always fascinated her, which made her take up Portraiture as a subject for GDart Diploma in Drawing and Painting. The subjects of her paintings are varied. She doesn’t like to categorize her style. For her, an artist should be able to draw and paint everything and anything that exists in the universe. An artist’s hand should be magical and should be capable of drawing or painting any form. One has to master the realistic form of an object before distorting it or making it abstract. She always stresses on “realism”, as it comes from her inspiration and admiration for the Renaissance masters. Apart from this, nature inspires her. She started reading eastern philosophy at an early age which comprises of Osho, Zen, The Bhagwad Gita, which helped her tremendously in developing her artistic sense, especially while painting abstracts. Rutuja Padwal is a spontaneous artist.
