This is a view out my studio window. The piece has to do with family and living in the state of Wyoming. To me it is intimating that there is more to life than just the day to day mediocrity that we are all kind of used to.
Ron McIntosh is a painter from Laramie, Wyoming. Ron's passion for creating art is inspired by the Expressionist and Abstract Expressionist Painters. You will note he displaces objects on the picture plane and puts them to use in various ways, recoloring them, painting patterns and sometimes scraping transparent white lines in front of them. All of this resolves into paintings engaging and fun scan with your eyes, mind and spirit.
