Ready to Hang
I created this piece in 2011, when my boyfriend at the time (now my husband) and I were taking long road-trips with our pups, living on the road, creating new patterns to our lives. While our life wasn't, the title of this piece is very down-to-earth: it is all about what's actually happening on the picture, my hubs and my pup taking a shower in a motel 6, after several days of camping. Oh yes :)
My inspiration is my life. I love painting my immediate surroundings and stories. I'm not shy to show you who I am and or how I live. I'm open and I'm loving. And I'm here for you!
Hi. My name is Rita Bolla, and I was born in Budapest, Hungary. After receiving an MFA degree from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, I travelled and exhibited in several major cities in Europe and America. I moved to the United Stated in 2009, the choice I cherish ever since. I lived in New York City, Los Angeles, the mountains of San Bernardino, California, and recently moved Upstate New York, to the Hudson Valley area. I am looking for peace, searching for the secret symmetry within Zen and Chaos. When I'm not painting or thinking about painting, I love spending time with my family in nature, cook good food and take or teach yoga.
