This is a multi-panel art piece comprised of 12, 12x12" canvases. The colors are influenced by the works of Victor Vasarely. This is an exciting and unique piece in that each of the 12 panels can be turned in any direction. Also, the 12 panels, when combined with the versatility of the individual panel, allows for an infinite number of configurations. This piece is great for a large space but is also configurable for a smaller space.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, I am a self-taught, Pittsburgh contemporary acrylics painter. I began painting after my move to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1982. The 1980s brought about a change in art, design and architecture and no place was it more evident than in Miami. I was so inspired by it all, I wanted to be part of it. Miami's diversity in the arts led to my need to be diverse in my varied styles of painting. While committing to an individual style of painting, I find that for me, it leads to boredom. The process of creating for me should be as fun and enjoyable as those collecting art or it will be evident in my final piece. Over the years, I have shown my art at various venues in FL, PA, CA, MI and other locations nationwide.
