Ready to Hang

This 3-dimensional piece represents the technology transition from floor-standing mini computers to desktop PCs. As a contemporary wall sculpture, this is truly original. While making a statement as a piece of art, it invokes conversation. In addition, it's a beautiful representation of the transition from old to new.

This is a piece that needs to hang in a high tech company's lobby, reception area, conference room or executive office. Instead of an abstract painting, this wall sculpture would make a great representation of the high tech world in both appearance and its tactile qualities.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, I am a self-taught, Pittsburgh contemporary acrylics painter. I began painting after my move to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1982. The 1980s brought about a change in art, design and architecture and no place was it more evident than in Miami. I was so inspired by it all, I wanted to be part of it. Miami's diversity in the arts led to my need to be diverse in my varied styles of painting. While committing to an individual style of painting, I find that for me, it leads to boredom. The process of creating for me should be as fun and enjoyable as those collecting art or it will be evident in my final piece. Over the years, I have shown my art at various venues in FL, PA, CA, MI and other locations nationwide.
