Ready to Hang
The music I played while recreating this piece consisted mainly of a wu tang song that dates back to when I was in grade school: Wu Tang Clan - Enter the 36 Chambers was the album and the song is called Tiger Style. My painting, Tiger Style, deals with a lot of emotions like courage, strength, power, nobility... It addresses that one can rise about the ashes of his/her life to do something great. It can represent many things to you. Hopefully it you feel what I feel. Listen to the song that inspired the rework of this piece and take a look at it at the same time. Maybe it will click.
I am a fine artist alongside being a graffiti and graphic artist. I currently reside in the middle of America: Des Moines, Iowa. I went to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and got my bachelors degree with focus on painting and drawing. I've had a major influx with commissioned works that started early 2015. So I'm always willing to work with my clients/friends. If you're interested in something here, feel free to contact me about any changes that would suit you better, or personalize it for you. Prints will be available for all of the original works I have uploaded to Vango. Portraits are my forte. Be it human, animal, something inanimate, or whatever your imagination may conjure. I have fun & excell in doing large format organic paintings. Currently I am most comfortable with impressionism because it's forgiving/loose approach into existence. I won't shy away from any style or design challenge. Do not hesitate to inquire with me directly.
