Originally I referenced Shere Kahn from the jungle book. Something about directly reproducing a cartoon character did not sit well with me. I couldn't understand precisely why, but it didn't feel right. I see a lot of artists taking that route today, and it seems to work really well for them. As a classically trained artist I couldn't merely emulate a cartoon character.; it felt like cheating. A lot of my style strives to be different and ideally, Unique. The tiger represents power and bravery, while the landscape behind represents my childhood in Taipei. I hope you enjoy this one as it is dear to my heart.

I am a fine artist alongside being a graffiti and graphic artist. I currently reside in the middle of America: Des Moines, Iowa. I went to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and got my bachelors degree in painting and drawing. I've had a major influx with commissioned works that started early 2015. So I'm always willing to work with my clients/friends. If you're interested in something here, feel free to contact me about any changes that would suit you better, or personalize it for you. Prints will be available for all of the original works I have uploaded to Vango. Feel free to commission me something, especially if it is a portrait. That is my forte. I have fun doing organic peices with a touch of impressionistic value. I won't shy away from any style. Do not hesitate to inquire with me directly.
