Trees give me so much. For me plants are the master producers. Even before dreadful winter takes their green leaves, trees give me something for nothing in return. This time its a visual treat of their leaves that appear to be going down with pleasure and valor.
An inconsequential street in the month of October with the leaves ablaze with fall colors.

My name is Ruchika Agarwal. I am an engineer by qualification but have always been an artist at heart. I grew up in Mumbai and got my engineering degree a long time ago (at-least thats how it seems). I worked well as an engineer for 15 years but managed to keep in touch with art. As a teenager I dabbled in colored charcoal, then experimented with acrylic. My latest love for sure is oil and can hardly wait to master the knife (on the canvas). It feels like I wear a multitude of hats all the time, a mom, an engineer, an athlete, a religious devotee, a teacher to my children and dream to capture special moments in some way and art does spring out as a tool that could help me snapshot those moments in my special way.
