Curator's Note: An ode to the artist's hometown, we love the imaginative spin on a traditional city skyline.

The reason I chose the title for this piece is an homage to my homeland of Brooklyn New York and the influx of its new citizens

I created this piece in trying to express how we've had this city on our backs for years

My inspiration in creating this piece- seeing the change from a time when we rode trains that were moving canvases and coming home to you apartment lobby full of crack vials. Just a reminder that some of us walked these streets before they were lined with cafe's and pop up shops.

An ode to home: no matter where i go, no matter what i do; I'm always coming back home to you - Atmosphere

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I dabble with art, jewelery design and textile design. Take a look at my work and let it speak for itself, hopefully you can see what inspires me. Hoping to see if Vango helps me pursue these passions. I just want to make stuff. Made in NY, Destroyed in NY.
