Ready to Hang

I ride my bike on this road a lot. There is usually always something to see. Especially in the morning. But every now and then during monsoon season the clouds build and the shadows and shade makes everything look different- unlike the daily cloudless sky that makes everything seem washed out and one dimensional.

Rachael Lamb is a professional painter and has moved recently from the coast of Maine to the desert of southern Arizona. This move was an enormous change of lifestyle and environment but it provides unmatched motivation and inspiration to paint the new desert landscape and render some of its most interesting qualities. Rachael spends most days painting, spending time with family and riding bikes in the desert where there is never a lack of bizarre and fascinating subject matter.
