Straight on, you wouldn't know Yaven and the background he's swimming in are full of fine glitter, matte and metallic splendor to capture the eyes from every angle. Yaven was inspired by the wonders of the ocean, to capture one of my favorite animals on the planet (next to pelicans and elephants!) Yaven is the only mixed media part to this painting, sketched on paper and then cut out to be painted over and brought to life. I chose vibrant colors rather than the traditional shades of a southern stingray to give tribute to the Florida art I grew up with. I hope Yaven's owner finds his tropical coloring and free spirited slyness as appealing as I do.
Avant-garde. Analyst. Artist. Naturist Kid Carpenter turned teen labor machine, doing all kinds of things on a core quest, to test, the possibilities of my capabilities long before I ever realize and hypothesized the drive to be evolution. The need to evolve. Resolve of adulthood has shown I've grown the most in my own reflection; taking direction from the simple value, always holding true, to "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," the coo before the command, "Lead by example." Ample opportunity I didn't quite take until now, 2017, I'm coming back with a pow!
