Sometimes you have to laugh as not to cry. At the suggestion of my twin, T-Rex got the honor of being the subject in this abstract, surreal, matte and metallic play on the Comedy/Tragedy concept. Keeping to the yin and yang theme with which it was painted, the left side background is painted in metallic, reflective gold, copper, and burnt umber, splatter with non-reflective white. The right side is is mix of non-reflective matte black and flaurescent purple and orange acrylic, with metallic/reflective white splatters. Yes, it's a blacklight friendly painting! The T-rex's where sketched on packing paper, cut out, glued on and painted in contrast to their backgrounds. The left, laughing T-Rex is the same flaurescent purples and oranges as the right background. The right T-rex is full of light-catching metallics. I gaurontee you'll love it even more on your wall than you can with this image!
Avant-garde. Analyst. Artist. Naturist Kid Carpenter turned teen labor machine, doing all kinds of things on a core quest, to test, the possibilities of my capabilities long before I ever realize and hypothesized the drive to be evolution. The need to evolve. Resolve of adulthood has shown I've grown the most in my own reflection; taking direction from the simple value, always holding true, to "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," the coo before the command, "Lead by example." Ample opportunity I didn't quite take until now, 2017, I'm coming back with a pow!
