Having finally found a venue where it may be well recieved, I give you SnEYEk. Painted on my birthday 2011 (and dated so on the back) during a 14 hour painting binge where I only stopped for basic human needs. While snakes aren't my favorite animal, I do love to paint them with human eyes because I find them similar to humans in how easily they're misjudged by their appearances. SnEYEk was the first of his kind and is a matte and metallic centerpiece to an equally matte and metallic background. So, walking past or up to this piece, is like walking into a misted jungle. One of the most interesting features of SnEYEk, is how easily the viewing minds just see the snake, long before we realize it has a human eye. For these reasons, it's remained my all-time favorite painting of those I've painted thus far.
Avant-garde. Analyst. Artist. Naturist Kid Carpenter turned teen labor machine, doing all kinds of things on a core quest, to test, the possibilities of my capabilities long before I ever realize and hypothesized the drive to be evolution. The need to evolve. Resolve of adulthood has shown I've grown the most in my own reflection; taking direction from the simple value, always holding true, to "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," the coo before the command, "Lead by example." Ample opportunity I didn't quite take until now, 2017, I'm coming back with a pow!
