The reason I chose the title for this piece is that, well, there are many diagonal lines. I created this piece as an exploration of many techniques to generate lines, and to manipulate their edges, colors, and shapes in different ways. I made each of the lines individually, normally by using a mask, so this was a long but rewarding process. If you look closely, you will see that there are different regions with different levels of organization and geometries.
I am a university professor who fell in love with the arts. I do science by day, and paint into the wee hours of the San Franciscan night. At every step of the way, I am finding art and science harder and harder to distinguish. Thank you for visiting my humble portfolio.
