The reason I chose the title for this piece is to highlight the exploration of space through a single geometrical shape and just a few colors. The piece explores also the perfect geometry of the line with the unpredictability of the paint that flows in between the lines, generating non-geometrical, fractal-like shapes. I created this piece as part of a three -part set exploring the relationship between order and disorder, regular shapes and random forms sharing the same space. The first one in the set is also on Vango.
I am a university professor who fell in love with the arts. I do science by day, and paint into the wee hours of the San Franciscan night. At every step of the way, I am finding art and science harder and harder to distinguish. Thank you for visiting my humble portfolio.
