Art is to console those who are broken by life. (Van gogh)
With a subtle expressionist approach, she creates work with intense colors and multiple textures. Using acrylics, paste and spray to find abstraction, her artwork explores the relationship between heart and soul in its process as a conversation between form and aesthetic, comfort and chaos.
The artist finds the life of her inspiration in recurring mental and emotional conflicts, music and tidal waves.
Through light and dark colors she reflects destruction, fear, agony and the relief of embracing herself as a real human being, finding a state of ease and satisfaction of bodily wants with freedom from pain and anxiety.
Perola is an interdisciplinary artist exploring the colorful chaos between design, fashion and art. The artist was self thought in her early years, practicing the habilit of creating watercolor portraits, collages, surrealistic and abstract paintings. In the past she has worked in interior design and currently founded a fashion business in Brazil.
