I love painting these iconic structures found all over New York City. It's interesting to see this old technology in such an advanced city. But like the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." It still does the job.
An original acrylic abstract painting on panel, ready to pop in a frame. Dimensions are "16W x 20H x 1/4" D
I created an abstract feel to it as well as a bright color pallet.
My name is Paul Piasecki. I am a Vango artist. My roots have always been art and photography. I'm a graduate from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree. It was from these early experiences that I honed my craft as a cinematographer for more the 20 years. I'm a self taught artist and I've been selling artwork online and in local galleries for many years. My work has taken me all over country and Caribbean. Originally from a small New England town on Cape Cod, I grew up with a landscape of quaint villages, beaches and the ocean. This environment inspired one of my favorite artist, part-time resident, Edward Hopper. I like giving things the, "lived in" look in most of my work. I love going into my own world and getting lost in the painting.
