When I visited France a few years ago we stayed at a grand Chateau in central France. This section was still under renovations and I loved the way the sun streamed into the several hundred year old giant windows. I tried to capture the way the room sat at the time. I gave it a lived in look in the state the room was in. Painted with high quality acrylic paint and created on a Masonite panel ready to pop in a frame.
My name is Paul Piasecki. I am a Vango artist. My roots have always been art and photography. I'm a graduate from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree. It was from these early experiences that I honed my craft as a cinematographer for more the 20 years. I'm a self taught artist and I've been selling artwork online and in local galleries for many years. My work has taken me all over country and Caribbean. Originally from a small New England town on Cape Cod, I grew up with a landscape of quaint villages, beaches and the ocean. This environment inspired one of my favorite artist, part-time resident, Edward Hopper. I like giving things the, "lived in" look in most of my work. I love going into my own world and getting lost in the painting.
