The reason I chose the title for this piece (insert reasoning)
This is a portrait of Miss Shasta. But in her neighborhood she's known as "Pink Ice". This would be because she is SO cool and has gigantic pink hair. She is a beauty with severe attitude.
I created this piece (insert the time period or phase of your life)
My inspiration in creating this piece (insert story of inspiration)
This portrait of Shasta was executed with high pigment watercloots on Arches hot press heavy stock watercolor paper. I paint with watercolor but not in a 'traditional' watercolor style that requires washes. I work with many layers and add precise detail. The deminsions posted here are her framed dimension. The actual painting is a bit smaller, but she is indeed framed in a clever setting with archival framing materials and museum quality no-glare uv resistant glass. She has pink matting and a golden bamboo frame! You can always swap her out for something that might be more to your liking or style. I have additional photos available.
Shasta would make a spectacular addition to any art collection.
