Curator's Note: I cannot get enough of Paul's wide-eyed, dramatically disproportionate characters. They're wonderfully indicative of his unique style and talents.
This is the lovely Robin. She sometimes eats her babies. You might find that to be a bit odd or creepy. But Robin finds them to be delicious and her house is far too small for any more children. This brilliant painting was originally painted with high pigment watercolors on Arches hot press paper and sold. However, I got a really nice high resolution scan of Robin before she left my studio so that I could do an oversized limited edition print for you here on Vango.
I hope that you enjoy this piece as much as I do.
