Ready to Hang
Curator's Note: As the artist states below - he had fun creating this - and it shows! You'll see a playful mix of media (glitter beads included) and texture.
I had fun with this one. I found a small, deep set, wooden frame at a yard sale. I decided to paint and sand on it and then I used epoxy to place my Froggy matchbox painting in the center and then used micro beads and Japanese water beads around him to make it look like water. Hand painted matchbox. Hand painted matches. Hand painted frame. Finished with a satin UV protective spray.
A very cool and fun assemblage piece for your collection. Super chunky and definitely one of a kind. Hanging hardware is already in place on the back of "Froggy's Birthday"
