This is an original watercolor painting of Dalinda and her baby. Her parents tried to take it away. But she wasn't having anything to do with that. So she has run away.
I kept the raw borders around this piece from brush cleanings and pencil scribbles because I enjoyed the look. This way, Dalinda can be framed with the full bleed or you can bring the matting opening into the edges of the finished image. A nice size at 9 x 11.5, this painting tells the desperate story of a little girl who had her mind made up. She's keeping her baby.
High pigment watercolours on Arches hot press paper and a bit of graphite make up this lovely painting that would be a spectacular addition to any collection. All archival materials. Dalinda can ship directly to you from my studio.
