Ready to Hang

The process of the piece was a challenge with colors, layers and the desire to unveil abstraction. After surfing in California I wanted to depict a painting that shows the chaos underwater with a calming layer to the viewers eye.
Edges are painted clean and ready to hang.

Jesse, the founder of Paintings by Jag has been inspired to paint from an early age. While specializing in landscapes, she likes to experiment with different subjects and mediums. Her grandmother, Isabelle (also a painter), taught her her to always use "a touch of red" in her pieces, a technique she continues to value. Jesse began focusing on her painting as a primary artistic outlet at the University of Vermont where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Studio Art. She has shown her pieces in various galleries in Vermont, The Design Guild in San Francisco, CA; Made and Four Daughters in Jackson Hole, WY, at Abigail Fox Designs on Nantucket and multiple venues in Greenwich, CT. Check out her website at: revelinginitPaintings by Jag has been a reflection of her surroundings, the Rockies, Tetons, East & West Coasts and her travels.
